Erev Yom Kippur

It's a custom to go to Mikvah on Erev Yom Kippur, this year Sunday September 25.

For your convenience, we are opening our new Mikvah facility for your use. 
You will get a 20 minutes slot with the whole space for yourself. Please be on time.

Since it's a busy day with one woman coming after the next. We ask that you do not take a shower at the Mikvah and bring your own towel.

Some pointers regarding Mikvah Erev Yom Kippur, from Rav Chaikin:

1. It is not the minhag by Ashkenazim for unmarried girls to go to mikvah erev Yom Kippur
2. Only a shower is required before this tevilla
3. No bracha is made for this tevilla
4. Woman is permitted to toivel even during sheva nekiim
5. She may also go day before erev Yom Kippur
6. Better to remove nail polish but ok to toivel even with polish
7. No need to hide this tevila from other women
8. Minhag to leave a lamp on in bedroom to remind of harchokos
9. A woman should not toivel erev Yom Kippur IF mikvah night was within three days (this is about conception)
